Remote Full Stack Developer (React/Elixir)

We are in search of a highly skilled and self-motivated Remote Full Stack Developer to join our globally distributed software development team. As part of our team, you will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and upkeep of various digital platforms and services, ensuring seamless functionality across our entire tech stack.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Elixir and React code.
2. Develop high-quality, responsive UI components using React, React Router, and related libraries.
3. Write server-side logic, define and maintain data storage solutions using Elixir/Phoenix and related technologies.
4. Implement user-facing features with, and collaborate with our UX designers to ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
5. Develop and maintain APIs, services, and systems across our platform.
6. Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including architecture, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
7. Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to manage, prioritize, and execute development projects.
8. Conduct code reviews, and test software as needed, along with participating in application debugging and troubleshooting.
9. Ensure application performance, responsiveness, and efficiency by identifying bottlenecks and bugs, and devising solutions to mitigate and address these issues.
10. Stay updated with the latest industry trends in full stack development and introduce innovative and efficient tools/techniques whenever appropriate.
Required Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
2. Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
3. Solid experience in JavaScript, especially React and React Router.
5. Experience with RESTful API integration.
6. Strong knowledge of HTML5/CSS3, and understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms.
7. Proficiency with code versioning tools, such as Git.
8. Experience with database technologies, such as PostgreSQL.
9. Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
10. Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment.
11. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
12. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Desirable Qualifications:
1. Familiarity with the Elixir Phoenix Framework is a bonus.
2. Familiarity with containerization technologies, such as Docker.
3. Experience in cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
