PR Associate

RedTorch Communications is in need of PR Account Associates for our Consumer and Corporate Desks with the following qualifications:
A graduate of Mass Communication, Journalism, Marketing, Advertising/Media, or similar tracks.
At least one (1) year of experience in a public relations or communications role, but fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Excellent communication skills.
Team player, adaptive to high-pressure situations, a multi-tasker when needed, resilient, and has great passion to learn about different industries
Adaptable to changing work set-up. In the interim, the agency is working from home but applicant must be willing to work in Circulo Verde, Quezon City when agency deems it safe and necessary to report to the physical office.
Additional Requirements:
CORPORATE DESK
Able to develop and execute communications campaigns; knowledgeable in media relations, account management and team management.
Skilled in writing business news, features, speeches and support documents is a plus.
CONSUMER DESK
Has knowledge in retail and consumer branding.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
I. Client Servicing
Timely creation of contact report/Minutes of the Meeting
Monitoring of pick-ups and creation of Media Values Report
Research
Assists in Accounts Strategic Planning
Media Registration during press events
Assists in press release drafting when needed
Production of Press Kits
Timely weekly scope of work updates
II. Media Relations
Seeding of Press Releases
Media Follow-ups for press releases
Assists in Media Management
III. Business Development
Lead generation
Assists in development of pitches
IV. Adherence to Team Culture
Routinely invests in building agency morale and capacities
