WordPress Developer / Designer

Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of WordPress, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and experience in customizing and developing WordPress plugins, themes, and websites
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a portfolio of WordPress websites
- Experience with responsive design and mobile-first development
- Experience with version control tools such as Git
- Photo and Graphic Editing skills
- Familiarity with popular WordPress plugins such as WooCommerce, Yoast SEO, and Advanced Custom Fields
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
- Stable high-speed internet connection or access to backup mobile connection
- Speak and write English for communication in WhatsApp / Assana / Google Meetings
- 5 Years of experience with proven examples

Responsibilities
- As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing new features, creating custom themes, plugins, and optimizing website performance
- Build and maintain WordPress websites and applications
- Customize existing WordPress themes to match specific client requirements
- Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code
- Work with the design team to implement website designs
- Optimize website performance and improve website speed
- Troubleshoot and debug issues related to WordPress websites and applications
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in WordPress development
- Must work standard US hours 9-6 pm EST (1-hour lunch) M-F
- Available for around-the-clock emergency support to respond to outages
- Dedicated to our team, this is a full-time position we are hiring a permanent member of our team - not a temporary or project-based position. We honor all Filipino and US holidays. Offer paid time off and vacation pay.
