Design Draftsman/woman

Duties and Responsibilities:

Review customer drawings, specifications and production routings for new purchase orders
Develop engineering designs and shop fabrication drawings from preliminary concepts, sketches, calculations and other data
Ensure detailed drawings are prepared and transferred to the Sales Representative, Production Manager, and/or client
Convert 2D sheet metal parts into 3D
Engineer and detail 3D models, assemblies and subassemblies using AutoCAD, AutoCAD Inventor
Update drawings as projects are implemented
Maintain all drawing records and CAD files
Comply with all quality-related policies, procedures and system requirements
Adhere to strict deadlines and ensure project completion

Qualifications:

Experience with conveying equipment, ability to calculate specifications for drive motors and components.
Experience in the Manufacturing industry
Proficient in Inventor (creating sheet metal components, assemblies and drawings)
Proficient in AutoCAD
Proficient in Microsoft 365
High energy level and positive attitude
Must be able to work without direct supervision and as part of a team
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent time management and organization skills required
Must effectively work under pressure and tight deadlines
Excellent attention to detail
