Video / Audio Editor

We are seeking a talented and driven individual to join our social media and conference education company as a Video and Podcast Editor. This is a part-time position with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role within one year. As a Video and Podcast Editor, you will play a crucial role in creating engaging content for our online platforms and conference materials.

Responsibilities:

Edit and produce high-quality videos and podcasts for our social media platforms, online courses, and conference presentations.
Collaborate with the content team to understand project requirements and objectives.
Trim and assemble recorded footage into a finished product, ensuring the logical sequencing and smooth running of the final content.
Enhance audio tracks, add sound effects, and mix audio levels using software such as Adobe Audition.
Apply visual effects, color correction, and other enhancements to improve video quality.
Review and proofread edited content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with our brand guidelines.
Manage and organize media files, ensuring efficient workflows and proper archiving.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a video and podcast editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing your editing skills.
Proficiency in Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, and Adobe Audition.
Solid understanding of video and audio editing techniques, including pacing, storytelling, and visual aesthetics.
Familiarity with social media platforms and their video requirements.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently, while also following guidelines and meeting deadlines.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with tea ---------- mbers.
Ability to multitask and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
A passion for education and the medical field is a plus.
