Part-Time QA ANALYST (long term)

---------- , a leading subscription box provider of candies from around the globe, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team. If you love breaking things just to put them back together and have a knack for making developers sweat with your keen eye for detail, then this role is for you!

What you'll be doing:

-Testing items in alpha and beta stages
-Reviewing the weekly release of our products
-Ensuring code quality, functionality, and aesthetics
-Finding and documenting bugs and glitches
-Collaborating with developers for fixes and improvements

Essential skills and abilities:

-Excellent written English and a friendly manner in writing
-Strong analytical skills with an ability to "read between the lines"
-Meticulous attention to detail
-Good time management skills with an ability to work independently
-Understanding of websites/web applications and finding edge cases
-Ability to accurately test websites across multiple browsers/OS
-Creating and running test cases on a daily basis

Desirable skills and experience:

-3+ years commercial experience with web/software testing
-Experience using bug tracking tools (such as Test Lodge, JIRA, Trac or Redmine)
-Experience with automated testing software (Ghost Inspector, Selenium)
-Knowledge of Vulnerabilities and Exploits Outside of Tool Suites
-Understanding of Secure Web Communications and Technologies
-Experience with Burp Suite is a plus
