JOB OVERVIEW

Feuer Nursing Review, a leading provider of NCLEX® review courses, is looking for a skilled Next-Gen NCLEX Software Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing custom software with testing capabilities that can accommodate the new format of the Next-Gen NCLEX. The software should be able to accommodate unfolding case studies, matrix questions, and bow-tie questions. Additionally, experience and knowledge of building Learning Management System (LMS) platforms would be highly valued. The software will be built on either WordPress or Moodle, and the candidate should have experience working with one or both of these platforms.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Feuer Nursing Review team to identify requirements and create specifications for the software
Develop a custom software solution with testing capabilities for the Next-Gen NCLEX
Integrate the software with WordPress or Moodle to allow for easy access and management of the testing materials
Ensure the software is user-friendly and easy to navigate for both instructors and students
Test and debug the software to ensure it is working properly
Build and maintain LMS platforms as needed by the company
Provide regular progress reports and adhere to the established timeline for the project
Work flexible hours with limited meetings during Eastern Standard Time

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
Proven experience in software development with a focus on testing capabilities
Strong knowledge of programming languages such as PHP, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS
Experience with WordPress or Moodle and plugin development
Familiarity with the Next-Gen NCLEX format and testing requirements
Experience in developing software that can accommodate unfolding case studies, matrix questions, and bow-tie questions
Understanding of assessment methodology and testing best practices
Knowledge and experience in building LMS platforms
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with other tea ---------- mbers
Additional Requirements:

Resume, 3 references, and a portfolio of previous work required
Ability to create a timeline for the project
Ability to provide regular progress reports using project management tools

We are offering a contract position with flexible hours, although there may be limited meetings during Eastern Standard Time.
