Merchandise Manager/Planner

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Fashion Merchandise Manager/Planner expert to join our team. Your job is to help us find and partner with brands that align with our retail and merchandise strategy. You will be responsible for researching and identifying potential DTC /modern fashion brand partners, negotiating deals, and ensuring that the merchandise we offer meets our target customers' needs and preferences. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of consumer behavior, and fashion market trends, and an eye for identifying emerging brands and products.

Key Responsibilities:
- Research and identify potential fashion brand partners that align with our retail and merchandise strategy
- Negotiate contracts and deals with potential partners
- Ensure that the merchandise we offer meets our customers' needs and preferences
- Stay up-to-date on market trends, emerging brands, and products
- Analyze consumer behavior to make informed decisions about merchandise selection
- Work closely with the store design & operations team to ensure that merchandise is displayed effectively in stores
- Communicate regularly with brand partners to maintain positive relationships and ensure that partnership agreements are being upheld
- Monitor social media and industry blogs to stay up-to-date on industry trends

Qualifications:
- Speaks proficient English - we work with US and UK brands
- At least 3 years of experience in fashion merchandise selection, buying, or brand partnerships
- Strong understanding of market trends and consumer behavior
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Proven ability to identify emerging brands and products
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Experience with retail operations and marketing
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
