JOB OVERVIEW

A Human Resources (HR) Representative is responsible for providing support to the HR department and employees on various HR-related matters. The following are some common responsibilities and qualifications for this role:

Responsibilities:

Assist with recruitment and selection processes, including posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
Provide guidance to employees on HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
Manage employee records, including new hire paperwork, personnel files, and benefits enrollment forms.
Process employee changes, such as promotions, transfers, and terminations.
Coordinate employee training and development programs.
Conduct exit interviews and collect feedback from departing employees.
Assist with performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
Support HR projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement surveys and diversity and inclusion programs.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in human resources or a related field.
Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with employees at all levels.
Strong organizational and administrative skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR-related software programs.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Familiarity with employment laws and regulations.
A positive attitude and a customer-oriented mindset.
