• Be able to perform a strategic plan in the development of a new business, which will involve a prospecting list (lead generation).
• Be able to initiate new business in the market – including proactively sourcing, identifying, developing and executing new sales opportunities.
• Build effective relationships with key accounts through effective account management tools.
• To report on a monthly basis to the team on the development of the market, by highlighting strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.
• Involved in new marketing activity within the market and ensuring a range of product mixes is being sold.
• Identifying new business opportunities and securing new contracts for the MSP.
• Building and maintaining relationships with clients, partners, and other key stakeholders.
• Conducting market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
• Developing and implementing sales strategies and plans to meet the MSP's growth objectives.
• Generating leads and nurturing prospects through the sales pipeline.
• Providing technical expertise on Microsoft products to prospects.
• Staying up-to-date with new technologies and advancements in the Microsoft product portfolio, and incorporating this knowledge into the MSP's offerings.
Requirements:
Ability to reach sales budgets and new accounts
Ability to maintain, develop and set revenue budgets & targets.
Effectively manage and plan for the development of new business in the Commercial/SMB/Cloud/Solution Market.
Ability to build new and effective business relationships in a professional manner while providing optimal customer service
Ability to understand customer needs and requirements and also the ability to understand the market requirements and needs.
Understanding of current product knowledge and having the willingness to improve upon it, including becoming certified in relevant vendor certifications.
Ability to deliver effective monthly sales presentations and weekly/monthly written reports.
