Position: OutSystems Developer
Department: Web and App Department
Job Overview:
The OutSystems Developer is responsible for developing client-side applications using OutSystems Service Studio with an end goal of meeting the business needs of different verticals in client’s Organization under agile methodology. He/She should show proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and client-to-server or server-to-client development via REST (JSON). The role can also design technical specifications and ensure that the development is within the scope of the designed requirements.
Responsibilities:
Lead in the development and design of automation projects using OutSystems Multi-Experience Development Platform
Writing and maintaining code
Working on critical bug fixes
Lead and guide junior and mid-level developers
Conduct code reviews
Can enhance some of the OutSystems local applications through development of change requests, investigation and implement fixes on issues raised.
Responsible for providing expert level assistance to our clients using the OutSystems platform to run their banking applications.
Exhibits expert business knowledge and leverages strong customer relationships.
Leads the work of others (mentors, prioritizes, delegates and reviews assignments).
Qualifications:
Programming experience of at least (3-4) years
Knowledge of databases; NoSQL, MySQL, MongoDB etc.
Knowledge of APIs
Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
Knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
OutSystems knowledge of at least three (3) years
Knowledge on .NET C# is a bonus.
OutSystems Certification is required
Desired Experience & Qualities:
Deep knowledge in web-based languages (JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, HTML)
Proficiency with Oracle SQL and ASP.NET
Knowledge of web services (REST and SOAP)
Accreditations:
OutSystems Certification: Web Associate Developer or Higher
Expert with OutSystems Service Studio & Integration Studio
Additional Requirements:
Stable internet connection and working computer since this is a work-from-home position.
