Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our organization as an NDIS Business Development Manager. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in driving the growth and success of our business within the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) sector. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement strategies to expand our client base, build strong relationships with key stakeholders, and maximize revenue opportunities.
Responsibilities:
Business Development Strategy:
Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities within the NDIS sector.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
Identify and target prospective clients and develop tailored strategies to win new business.
Monitor industry developments and regulatory changes to capitalize on emerging opportunities.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including NDIS participants, support coordinators, disability service providers, and government agencies.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and service requirements.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Regularly review client feedback and proactively address any issues or concerns.
Proposal Development and Contract Negotiation:
Prepare and submit compelling proposals, tenders, and bids in response to client requirements.
Conduct thorough contract negotiations with clients to secure profitable agreements.
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies during the proposal and contract negotiation processes.
Collaborate with the legal and finance teams to review and finalize contractual terms and conditions.
Revenue Generation:
Achieve sales targets and revenue goals within the assigned territory or market segment.
Identify and implement strategies to upsell and cross-sell additional products and services to existing clients.
Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to senior management.
Continuously seek opportunities to improve sales processes and effectiveness.
Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective promotional materials, campaigns, and branding strategies targeting the NDIS sector.
Provide guidance and support to other team members, sharing industry knowledge, best practices, and insights.
Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting teamwork and shared goals.
Role Distribution:
The NDIS Business Development Manager will work closely with various internal teams, including sales, marketing, operations, legal, and finance. They will report directly to the Sales Director or a senior executive within the organization.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the NDIS sector.
Strong understanding of the NDIS framework, policies, and regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish strong relationships with diverse
Exceptional negotiation and contract management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Results-oriented mindset with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of disability support services and the needs of NDIS participants is highly desirable.
