Our dental practice in Ontario, Canada is seeking a skilled Dental Training Program Developer to design, develop, and implement training programs for our dental team. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with our subject matter experts to create effective and engaging training materials that comply with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work with subject matter experts to design and develop training programs for our dental team
• Apply instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles to create effective training materials, including online courses, videos, and manuals
• Ensure that training programs comply with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through needs assessments and regular evaluation of trainee performance
• Revise and update training materials as necessary to ensure accuracy and relevance
• Provide support and guidance to trainers and trainees as needed
• Collaborate with trainers and stakeholders to implement training programs and monitor progress
• Manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in dental training and education
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in dentistry or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in instructional design and development, preferably in the dental industry
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to dental practices and training in Ontario, Canada
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures correctly and safely
