Dermatologist Proofreader

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a board-certified dermatologist with a keen eye for detail to join our team as a Proofreader for our skincare/haircare-focused blog articles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dermatology and excellent proofreading skills to ensure the accuracy and quality of our content. As part of the role, you will be responsible for reviewing and verifying the medical accuracy of our skincare articles, providing valuable insights and expertise.

Responsibilities:

- Review and proofread skincare blog articles for medical accuracy, grammar, punctuation, spelling, and syntax errors.
- Ensure that content adheres to dermatological industry standards and best practices.
- Verify the accuracy and relevance of medical information, facts, and statistics in the articles.
- Provide valuable dermatological insights and suggestions to enhance the quality and relevance of the articles.
- Work closely with our content creators to ensure articles are consistent with our brand voice and style guidelines.
- Verify the correctness and relevance of images, diagrams, and other visual aids used in the articles.
- Ensure proper citation and referencing for all sources used in the articles.
- Meet deadlines and work efficiently to manage multiple proofreading tasks simultaneously.

Requirements:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) and board certification in dermatology.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors and inconsistencies.
- Excellent command of the English language, including grammar, punctuation, and syntax.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
