JavaScript Front End Developer

At COMMaS Ltd we are embarking on a new mission to build the next generation web based communication platform, and we are looking for Front-End developers with a passion for JavaScript and willing to embrace a LEAN approach to software development to help us achieve our objectives through constant iteration and learning.

As our Front-End expert, you will be responsible for designing, developing and optimizing our front end as well as prototyping new features. You will work with the back-end team to make sure that back-end and the front-end play nicely together and as such will require experience with RESTful architectures.

**Responsibilities**
Build beautiful and efficient reactive front-ends that are easy to maintain using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Be part of the design team to ensure that the design concepts are properly and fully realized within the development process.
Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
Writing excellent documentation on what you are doing
Writing unit tests
Contribute to the design team through constant constructive feedback

**Skills & Qualifications**
Strong proficiency with JavaScript, JQuery and AJAX, HTML and CSS
Prior experience with React.js highly desirable
Knowledge of Node.js and frameworks available for it,.
Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds
Responsive design experience
Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs. desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
Linux Knowledge a distinct advantage
Holder of a degree in Computer Science, OR 1 year React.js Front-End development experience, OR 3 years experience on similar development environments.

Must be able to work in a collaborative team environment
