- Develop multi-tier web applications for customers using open-source technologies; envisioning system features and functionality
- Enhance and support e-commerce and mobile sites as well as sales, intranet, and web applications that support BeUniqueGroup business activities
- Design, develop, maintain and enhance systems based on business requirements using approved technologies and coding standards
- Collaborate with various departments to gather accurate specifications for new enhancements and applications
- Monitor and optimize systems to ensure the best performance
- Translate requirements and use cases into technical designs and functional code
- Monitor routine content changes and ensures accuracy of content data feeds
- Identify website issues, gather information, and determine the recommended solution
- Create and present multiple technical solutions that show thoughtful approaches to strategy and issue resolution
- Maintaining web development documentation, testing cases, and specifications
- Act as a mentor to other developers with programming issues

Requirements:

- Must have experience with REST, API-driven development
-Must have experience with web app frameworks like Flask or Django, Angular, Vuejs or React, WordPress
- Must have a very good understanding of front-end technologies and platforms, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Good understanding of server-side CSS pre-processors, such as LESS and SASS
- User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
- Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
- Data migration, transformation, and scripting
- Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms such as mobile vs desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform
- Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
- Knowledge of WordPress, Laravel or Magento is an added advantage.
