Content Writer for Cannabis Publication and Client Websites

Creator Club, an Australian digital agency, is seeking a talented content writer to join our team. As a content writer, you will be responsible for crafting engaging blog posts for our cannabis publication and writing website content for our clients. You will also be tasked with creating visually appealing articles using WordPress and crafting effective email marketing copy.

This role is open to candidates who are passionate about the cannabis industry and possess exceptional writing skills. The ideal candidate will have experience writing for both online and offline platforms, as well as using various content management systems such as WordPress. You should be able to write compelling content that resonates with our audience while adhering to SEO best practices.

Responsibilities:

Write high-quality blog posts for our cannabis publication
Create website content for our clients that is engaging and informative
Edit and proofread content for errors and clarity
Optimize content for SEO
Use WordPress to create visually appealing articles
Craft effective email marketing copy
Requirements:

Excellent writing skills with the ability to craft compelling content
Experience using WordPress and other content management systems
Understanding of SEO best practices
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for the cannabis industry is a plus
Familiarity with email marketing is a plus
Video creation/editing skills are a plus
Experience with cannabis or working with cannabis companies is a plus

This is a part-time position initially, with the potential for increased hours as you become familiar with the role. We offer flexible working hours, but you should be available to work at least 10-20 hours per week. The hourly rate for this position is between $5-10 USD, with the potential for growth as you become more experienced in the role. We also offer regular bonuses to reward great work and show appreciation for our employees.
