Web Developer

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Part-Time Virtual Assistant with a strong background in web development to join our team. The ideal candidate should have excellent English communication skills and extensive knowledge in WordPress, Shopify, and coding languages/frameworks such as JavaScript, React, PHP, and more (this is less important than the Wordpress ecosystem knowledge). This position requires someone who is comfortable building websites from scratch and can adapt to different industries, such as e-commerce, affiliate marketing, content sites, blogs, and SaaS.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the development and management of various web projects, primarily using WordPress and Shopify
Apply coding skills to create and customize themes, plugins, and other features for different websites
Provide support in UI/UX design to ensure smooth user experience and visually appealing webpages
Maintain and update websites as needed, ensuring optimal functionality and performance
Collaborate closely with the team using Nifty for task management, communication, and project updates
Understand and adapt to Western culture when working on projects and communicating with team members
Requirements:
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Proven experience in WordPress, Shopify, and web development
Knowledge of coding languages and frameworks such as JavaScript, React, PHP, etc.
Experience with UI/UX design principles
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and contribute to the team
Strong work ethic and a growth mindset
Familiarity with Nifty or willingness to learn
Understanding of Western culture and business practices
Additional Information:
This is a part-time position with the potential to become full-time based on performance
Work schedule: 20 hours per week
Salary range: PHP 15,000 to PHP 20,000 per month, based on experience and qualifications
