Buyer - Merchandise Manager

• Develops annual sales/inventory buy plan for apparel/accessories/footwear for consignment, outright and retail concept stores.
• Manages the apparel/accessories/footwear assortment to achieve optimum sales, margin and inventory goals.
• Identify opportunities through sales analysis, competitive shopping (actual and viral) and market research.
• Manages monthly key items, promotions, markdowns and establishment of suggested retails.
• Creates accurate and timely purchase orders (import and local production in line with open to buy.
• Will handle assistant buyers
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Business Studies/Administration/Management or any equivalent.
• Required skill(s): Budgeting, Inventory Management, Pricing and People Management.
• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably Assistant Manager / Managers specializing in Merchandising or equivalent.
• Knowledgeable about VANS and the lifestyle it represents.
• Passionate about actions sports - BMX, Surfing and Skateboarding
