Junior Accountant / Senior Bookkeeper (MUST BE EXPERIENCED WITH XERO)

We are seeking a FULL-TIME superstar Junior Accountant Virtual Assistant (or Senior Bookkeeper) STARTING ASAP WHO IS AN EXPERT WITH XERO to provide support to our growing team! We are a North American based company who believes in providing exceptional customer service.

If you are a dedicated Junior Accountant Virtual Assistant who is a great team player, is willing to learn, holds 2+ years of experience in Accounting (bonus if you are a CPA or have Canada/USA/UK/AUS experience) and is comfortable working a GRAVEYARD POSITION (9PM - 5AM PHILIPPINES TIME ZONE)

About the Opportunity:

As a Junior Accountant Virtual Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

-Weekly/Monthly reconciliations using Xero (MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE USING XERO)
-Monthly Reporting
-Filing tax documents
-Bookkeeping
-Working Hours: FULL-TIME (M-F PST TIME ZONE)
-Time Zone: 9PM – 5AM PHILIPPINES TIME ZONE
-Salary Payment Dates: Monthly salary
-Start Date: ASAP

Job Requirements/Skills Needed:

-You are an expert with Accounting software Xero (BONUS: if you are certified)
-A professional level of written/spoken English, you must be fluent and comfortable speaking with clients
-You hold an Accounting degree and/or 2 years of relevant experience as a Junior Accountant or in a similar role
-Having your CPA is a bonus
-Bonus if you are familiar with Hubdoc, Karbon, G-suite, Shopify, Plooto, Square
-Working graveyard is an absolute MUST
-MUST have a clear and strong internet connection with a BACK-UP GENERATOR if you are working from your home office (minimum 50 Mbps)
-Must provide your own laptop/work equipment
