Brist Mfg., Bellingham, WA is seeking a full-time Supply Chain Specialist to join our international custom apparel team to place purchase orders with factories and suppliers, approve pre-production and bulk photos, ensure workflows and timelines are met, and resolve order related issues. As this position will be making important decisions about the quality of our products in manufacturing, it would be very helpful to have previous textile and apparel product experience and/or knowledge. This position requires fluent English written and spoken skills, and the ability to regularly work USA Pacific Time Zone hours Monday - Friday.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Review and confirm custom international order requirements meet customer expectations.
Place and maintain all international order activity in WIPs.
Place orders with international factories, provide ongoing communication and updates as required with factory representatives.
Review pre-production and bulk photos for accuracy and ensure product quality is maintained.
Record, maintain, and improve reporting mechanisms/documentation.
Track shipments through delivery and receipt of goods at Brist. Work with Brist QC department to support and resolve order and/or product discrepancies.
Coordinate and communicate shipping information with shipping partners, address and resolve shipping issues and delays.
Collaborate with sales and design to resolve order
Collaborate with accounting to review, process, and provide evidence of payment for invoices.
Work with sales, design, sample store, and marketing to support customer
Other related duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Fluent English - written and spoken
Work Pacific time zone hours (graveyard shift)
EXPERIENCE
2+ years supply chain, purchasing experience
Textile/apparel experience (preferred)
