JOB OVERVIEW

Vizsion, Inc.
Las Vegas, NV
www.vizsion.com

We pride ourselves on making beautiful and interactive web experiences for our clients.
We view ourselves as a low cost alternative to high end agency website designers.

We are looking for a CSS/HTML5 programmer who is also familiar with Wordpress integration and also Bootstrap.

Our ideal applicant would also have a great eye for beautiful design (although graphics design is not a requirement).

Please do not apply unless you feel confident and experienced enough to code the frontend for websites like this: http://www.awwwards.com/20-best-websites-with-parallax-scrolling-of-2013.html

We have an excellent graphics team so you will not have to do any graphic design.

The applicant should be able to read/write English competently.
You should have a reliable internet connection.
They should be able to program responsive websites and make minor creative decisions without direction.
We are looking at making award winning level websites, and expect the applicant to have a creative eye and also participate in the creative process.

We are initially looking at some freelance work, but quickly transforming into a full-time position.

If you love building beautiful websites, please read further.
If you are hired, you will be joining a growing company that cares about its freelancers, and offers monetary incentives as we grow.

1) Candidate should have a basic understanding the necessity of balancing hours used versus the product produced.
In other words, when given a project, candidate can understand that spending many hours on a small part of the project may not be in the best interest of the client given the budget.
2) Candidate will be given a mockup and will have to make certain decisions as to parallax effects or effects to add to a website to give it that extra life.
3) Candidate is expected to hone and work on improving their skills outside of our projects.
Our ideal candidate would be looking at awwwards, com or other sites and always trying to figure to out how to do something better or more spectacular.
4) Not all of our work is amazing and fun, sometimes we have to build boring sites to pay our bills and your wage :(
5) Must be reliable and hardworking, we grow as a team and share success (and money) as a team, we have no desire to have anyone who is not wanting to produce the best product.

Please reply if you are interested with what wage you desire (we are cost sensitive) and also a small portfolio of work.

Our "short-list" of candidates will be given various small test tasks (and paid for such) and one single best candidate will be selected to be a part of our growing team.

Thank you.
