Sales Representative

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Freight Broker Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing new business and maintaining relationships with existing clients by providing exceptional customer service and meeting their transportation needs. The Freight Broker Sales Representative will be responsible for negotiating rates, coordinating shipments, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers
2. Negotiate rates with carriers and ensure that shipments are executed on time and within budget
3. Identify new business opportunities and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients
4. Coordinate the shipment process, including dispatching and tracking shipments
5. Communicate effectively with customers, carriers, and internal teams
6. Resolve any shipment-related issues or discrepancies that arise
7. Maintain accurate records of sales and shipment activity
8. Manage multiple shipments simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
9. Provide exceptional customer service to clients and carriers to ensure repeat business and referrals
10. Utilize industry knowledge to identify market trends and potential growth opportunities
11. Continuously seek to improve processes and procedures to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Excellent in communications. Need to make phone calls.
2. Must be able to work on night shift (US time)
3. Able to work under pressure
4. Must have working computer and high-speed internet
5. Able to work 40 hours each week
6. Must have power backup in case of power outage
