PLX Techs is a leading provider of tech accessories solutions for retailers in the United States. We are seeking a talented and motivated Product Designer to join our team and help us create innovative and user-friendly products.

As a Product Designer, you will be responsible for designing products that meet the needs of our customers and stand out in the marketplace. You will work closely with our product development and marketing teams to ensure that our products are both functional and aesthetically appealing.

Responsibilities:

Design new products and packaging that meet customer needs and align with our brand identity
Develop product concepts, sketches, and prototypes
Conduct user research to identify customer needs and preferences
Collaborate with product development and marketing teams to ensure that products meet business objectives and customer needs
Create product specifications and design documentation
Participate in the testing and evaluation of new products
Continuously monitor and evaluate product performance and customer feedback, and make design changes as needed

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field
3+ years of experience in product design
Experience in retail product development is a plus

Skills:

Strong understanding of design principles, including form, function, and usability
Ability to conduct user research and interpret data to inform product design decisions
Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail and strong visual design skills
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Familiarity with emerging design trends and technologies

Software:

Design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign), Sketch, or Figma
Prototyping tools such as InVision, Marvel, or ----------
3D modeling software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD
