Video Editor - Personal Brand

ROLE

The perfect candidate has experience creating Short form content & long form YouTube videos optimized for Watch Time.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Edit and produce high-quality short and long form videos for the personal brand of our founder
- Create engaging, eye-catching videos that promote the personal brand across social media platforms (such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.)
- Utilize motion graphics, music, and sound effects to enhance the videos' storytelling and overall quality
- Cut and edit footage to create compelling stories that engage and resonate with the audience
- Work with a range of video formats, including raw footage, stock footage, and b-roll
- Meet deadlines and produce high-quality content consistently
- Manage and organize video assets for efficient and effective workflow
- Continuously improve video production processes and techniques
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure that videos are fresh and engaging

REQUIREMENTS

- Proven experience as a video editor, with a portfolio showcasing short and long form video projects
- Expertise in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro
- Familiarity with video codecs, file formats, and compression techniques
- A willingness to take on additional responsibilities and learn new skills as needed
- A passion for storytelling and creating visually engaging content
- A strong understanding of video marketing and audience engagement strategies
