JOB OVERVIEW

We are a healthcare company that performs inventory of medical equipment. We currently operate in two database softwares (Microsoft Access for data entry and Lotus Approach for SQL/data). The databases are surprisingly stable, but we need to improve our processes and administration.

We'd like to turn to you for some enhancements to the database processes and future administration. I'd expect this to take two distinct parts. Upfront 'project' enhancements. Cleaning up datasets to be ready for use, changing some database links, changing the Access forms, editing Access outputs, etc. Then an ongoing 'maintenance' mode. These databases are updated nearly every time we are in the field (2-3x per month), so need some better comparison modules, update controls, etc.

Finally, there's a chance you'll look at it and say "I can do items #1, 3 and 6" but it'd be better if we migrated certain portions to a new setup. If so, then we'll lean on you to help with the discovery, selection and implementation of the new database setup.

This business is over 25 years old and has a long history of employees who have been with us. Two employees have been with us 20+ years and are clearly experts in their field. I've worked with Online Jobs for over a decade and have a strong team of experts who we like to stay with us for a long time (5 of 13 members have been here since about 2014/2015.)

If this sounds like an opportunity for you, please start here to complete the virtual screening:
----------

After the screening, we'll do a video interview and job selection will be within two weeks.

My hope is we can find the right tea ---------- mber to join. This is only a part-time role for now (~15 or so hours per week - sometime more, sometime less), but we do have multiple divisions that could possibly turn into a full time role.
