Video Researcher

About the Role:
Wildcard Media is looking for a Freelance Video Researcher. This person will focus on finding, researching, and acquiring trending video content from Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and Tiktok and communicating directly with the video content creators. The ideal candidate has excellent research and communication skills and is always updated with internet trends.

Expectation: 4 hours per day, 20 hours per week; flexible time, Monday through ---------- pensation rate: $4/hr (starting rate)

Responsibilities:
Curate and research video content for Wildcard Media channel.
Contact content creators we are potentially trying to license content from
Coordinate with editorial and video production team to ensure we are on-schedule with video content licensing and posting
Managing correspondence with video editor ensuring licensed content has been secured and cleared
Organize and track video content for publishing

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree required
2+ years of online publishing or social media experience preferred
Experience working with video and social curation
Experience with providing customer service via email or chat
Mastery of Google docs, Excel, and Microsoft Word

Nice to have skills:
Experience with video licensing and research.
