Key Responsibilities:
The Product Governance Associate owns the timely delivery and execution of all Product team’s launches and initiatives. S/He will oversee and coordinate with leaders in Product team (i.e. Product Owners, Experience Head, QA Head) to ensure that deliverables are promptly met and complete. S/He is responsible for tracking and progressing all items with the corresponding stakeholders (Tech, Consumer, Enterprise, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Legal, and Channel Management among others). S/He will own all reports and updates on product roadmap delivery.
The Product Governance Associate will support the rest of the Product Management Team to deliver the team’s full-year roadmap by owning and leading all collaborations outside of the Product team to ensure roadmap delivery stays on schedule and on budget.
The Product Governance Associate will also be responsible for process implementation and optimization, and establishing rules of engagement with the other KMD groups, with the purpose of improving efficiency.
The Product Governance Associate also supports the Chief Product Officer and Product Management team to ensure that his/her overall strategy supports the company’s overall strategy and goals. S/he will be working closely with the Chief Product Officer to provide regular reports on metrics and updates on all relevant projects
Scope of Work:
1. PROGRESS: Represent and lead the regular cadences and meetings with the other stakeholders to move the initiatives and projects forward; Provide support to all members of Product team to track progress of all priorities
2. REGULAR REPORTS: Regular updating of Product team’s initiatives and launches to all members of Product Team and all Stakeholders
3. PROCESS: Ownership of end to end process and Product team’s rules of engagement with other teams; Stakeholder communications, negotiations, and problem-solving
Key Performance Indicators:
1. PROCESS: Establish processes where there’s none set yet; implement those that have been. Productivity gatekeeper of the Product team
2. REPORTS: Regular, consistent, and clear reporting; with actionable next steps and clear accountability. Complete, Comprehensive and accurate documentation of all Product Roadmap deliverables under Product
3. LEADERSHIP: Serve as a deputy to CPO to ensure efficient collaboration and communication within and external to Product team
Requirements:
1. At least 5 years work experience, in a similar role, ideally in the tech industry, 1-2 years as people manager
2. Bachelor's degree or master's degree in business or related field.
3. Proven experience in project management or business process
4. Proven stakeholder management skills.
5. Ability to draw logical, concise and accurate conclusions from an analysis of relevant information and data, with strong attention to detail
6. Has in-depth understanding of the interplay of business drivers
7. Proficiency in Excel, Powerpoint/ Google Sheets and Slides
