ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for an EDI Business Analyst to help our clients implement and maintain their chosen trading partner relationships. This involves reviewing incoming and outgoing EDI documents, providing analysis of trading partner specifications and incoming EDI documents and business system integrations. You will be essential to explain to business units a clear and concise review of EDI data exchanged.
You will also be collaborating with the IT and EDI teams to direct testing plans and confirm all data expectations are met. You will be the point of contact for not only the client’s business units, but also all the different trading partner business units. You will be expected to explain the use of “order-to-cash” EDI documents in business terms while understanding the technical implications of the business needs. The main focus of this position is to bridge the gap between EDI technology and business teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
In this role, you'll get to...
collaborate with the trading partners and client business units to implement new EDI trading relationships
maintain lists of all trading partner’s contact information
understand the order to cash business process and required EDI documents that accomplish those business tasks
maintain testing plans for new partner relationships, or any changes made to current transactions or relationships
assist client business units, including the IT team, to maintain their EDI connectivity and data flow
train client teams in the use of new EDI processes and procedures
conduct audit of data received and sent to make certain we are in compliance with all business and trading partner needs
propose EDI solutions to business problems in the order to cash process
perform other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
On day one, we'll expect you to...
have a minimum of 3 years of EDI experience with expanding responsibility
have an understanding in all EDI communication platforms, including Value Added Networks, AS-2, and SFTP
possess a bachelor's degree in IT related field, or 5 years of relevant experience
have the ability to communicate EDI technical requirements in business terms
have an expertise in EDI order to cash documents, purposes, and syntax structures
have a positive and patient attitude when working collaboratively with client facing teams
have the ability to set priorities and organize resources to successfully complete EDI implementations and make change deadlines
possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
have a fully functional and up-to-date computer with which to perform duties
be willing to install next-generation endpoint protection on the computer
be a current resident of the Philippines and can perform work from there
be willing to work in US Pacific Time (8:00am-5:00pm PDT) corresponding to 11:00pm -8:00am PH time
