Business Analyst

Work Hours: 8AM CST – 5pm CST (9pm to 6am manila time)
Work Schedule: Mon to Fri
Work Condition: Full Time

SMBC is seeking a self-directed Business Analyst to provide both business and systems analyst skills, perform business process and requirements analyses by leading stakeholder engagements on the gathering, documentation, and detailed analysis of business requirements.
This role will be responsible for working cross-functionally with a broad set of business units, you will use keen business process understanding, appreciation for user experience and quality, critical thinking, and focus on long term strategy to craft secure, high performing and scalable solutions that meet business and technology objectives.
This role will report to the COO.

Qualifications:
· 3+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, in process architecture, gathering, documenting business requirements, and test planning development and execution
· Experience in business process improvement and project management
· Strong understanding and experience in Project Methodologies (Agile/Scrum)
· Experience with documenting requirements
· Demonstrated experience applying business process improvement methodology to drive process improvements
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
· Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving scenario
· Critical thinking individual that has a balance of practical hands-on technical and business process experience
· Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio (or equivalent)
