Preschool Curriculum Developer

Hello! We are looking for a full-time curriculum developer for our online preschool resource company, Movin' Monkeys Preschool ( ---------- ).

We provide fantastic resources to help modern parents preschool their children ages 2.5 to 5 at home with movement, play, and imagination! We are now creating a new mommy-and-me curriculum for parents that we aim to make the best in the preschool-at-home industry. This person’s primary responsibility will be to help plan and write content for our new preschool curriculum as well as help create visuals and perform other VA tasks to make resources available for our audience.

The following are the primary job duties:

-Watch and take notes on each episode of our already-created, 38-week preschool video series
-Pull out key themes, ideas, and skills worked on in each episode
-Brainstorm additional ideas and activities to enrich and extend learning in ways that can be done at home, building upon best practices in early childhood education
-Use our templates and guidelines to create a new mommy-and-me curriculum with relevant discussion points, visuals, large motor activities, fine motor activities, art projects, role play opportunities, games, and more.
-Perform online research to further enhance the curriculum and provide appropriate links to serve our audience
-Assist in other virtual assistant tasks to support business goals

Here are specific skills we are looking for in a candidate:

Degree in Early Childhood Education, with a strong understanding of developmentally appropriate practice for preschool-aged children
Preschool classroom education experience
Comfortable working with Canva and using graphic design skills to create images and visuals
Experience developing curriculum for preschool students, either in person or online
Strong research, planning, and organizational skills
Excellent communication and English
Creativity to be able to adapt and come up with new ideas to meet the needs of a home-based audience
A sense of fun - someone who loves teaching and enjoys making educational content for children
Must have good internet and computer, comfortable working with Google Drive files
Good work ethic, efficient, and professional

This is a temporary position that will be fulfilled when the project is finished, we estimate in 2-3 months time. There is a possibility for continued employment if the candidate performs well and has other needed skills such as any of the following:
-Social media management
-Video editing skills (for Reels, Tiktoks, and Youtube)
-Writing (such as blog posts, emails, and Youtube scripts directed at parents, marketing copy, etc)

The pay for this full-time position will be $150 USD per week, paid weekly at the end of each week.
