JOB OVERVIEW

Conduct market and competitor research to inform seasonal line planning
Monitor category sales and identify trends the infor ---------- rchandise planning strategies
Develop supply strategies that will minimize stockouts while maximizing inventory turns.
Provide guidance about selling patterns, the timing of future product launches, and launch philosophies
Managing assortment mix in line with category strategy, revenues and gross margin target as well as inventory levels
Prepare financial and statistical reports for merchandising to initiate decision making
Develop appropriate tools to perform analysis to ensure effective management of all existing categories and new development strategies
Design various methods to analyze product performance leading to product lifecycle planning and liquidation strategies
Ensuring product selection is aligned with market trends
Analyzing product performance & sell-through tracking on a monthly/seasonal basis
Works cross functionally with web, marketing and operations teams to optimize selling potential
Conducts and presents in-depth sales analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, threats and opportunities on a quarterly basis
Guide planning sales activity and markdown execution plans in close collaboration with marketing and operations
Owns the seasonal line creation, implementation and maintenance
Responsible for financial targets and profitability structure
