Looking for a Skilled and Effective Data Analyst with web scraping experience!

Job brief
We are seeking a highly motivated, full time Data Analyst who is skilled in web scraping and data processing will need to have the necessary skills to search and compile information for ABA clinics located in the United States and worldwide into a Google sheet. The Data Analyst will need to search for information such as clinic name, complete address, phone number, fax number, email address, website url, ratings on multiple sites such as Google, Yelp, Facebook etc, and other associated information. Autismdex is a startup health platform founded in the United States that’s focused on helping those searching for an ABA clinic for loved ones who have been diagnosed with Autism by providing an easy to use search engine designed to deliver necessary and extensive information needed to find and select the best ABA clinic.

Responsibilities
-Quickly and efficiently extract content and data from websites
-Know how to utilize the software used to extract data for analysis and to analyze the data you obtain
-Understand and use tools or manual techniques to collect information
-Experience running large scale web scrapes
-Familiarity with techniques and tools for crawling, extracting and processing data (e.g. Scrapy, pandas, mapreduce, SQL, BeautifulSoup, etc).

Requirements and Skills
-Must be fluent in written and spoken English
-Familiarity with Google spreadsheet and Google-based research
-In-depth knowledge of Linux/UNIX, HTTP, HTML, Javascript, or other programming and coding languages
-Creative problem solving and collaboration skills
-Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines
-Attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work on time
-Strong problem-solving skills
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-Must provide weekly updates on progress
-Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field or the equivalent demonstrated experience
-Minimum of 2-3 years relevant work experience as a Data analyst

The salary is negotiable and subject to performance-based increases. We love giving out discretionary performance BONUSES!
