Director of Logistics Operations

**** Growing 3PL is seeking an experienced Director of Logistics Operations (Freight Dispatcher & Logistics)****
A freight Director of Logistics Operations is someone that coordinates and manages the schedules of truck drivers to ensure products and goods are picked up and delivered in a timely manner. The Director of Logistics Operations responsibilities are:
1. Contact Freight Brokers, Shippers, and use Load boards on behalf of the trucking company to book loads
2. Stay in constant contact with carrier/drivers
3. COLD CALLING- Director of Logistics Operations must be able to establish rapports with brokers, shippers, ---------- order to find dedicated routes for drivers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A minimum of 1 yr of Dispatch or brokerage Experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
- Strong use of grammar
- Critical thinking skills
- Reliable Internet Connection
- Reliable Working PC
- Must be able to communicate via Video, Phone, Google Workspace, and Email, etc.
- Phone, Email, and SMS Support are a plus!
- Exceptional Time Management and Organizational skills
