Product Development Manager

We’re looking to hire a product development manager to oversee the end to end process of taking product specification briefs into finished products for our various brands.

Product Development Manager

JOB DESCRIPTIONS:

Responsible for managing and coordinating product development on a variety of projects. Works with product and market research personanel, as well our designer to develop exceptional market leading products alongside suppliers in the industry Negotiates pricing, MOQ’s, lead times and stays in touch with suppliers to ensure productions are delivered smoothly.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Follow up on sample time and action with all suppliers
Maintain daily communication with international factories
Work cross-functionally with all departments involved in the development process – including Design, Production and Sales
Potentially travel to suppliers to ensure quality control

QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree
At least 3-5 years of experience in the field, ideally with a private labeller or multinational brand
Has the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from various groups: salespeople, distributors, customers, and the general public
Has excellent written skills for reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
Detail oriented with excellent project management skills
Knowledge of current color and pattern trends
Knowledge of design, aesthetics, and manufacturability of products
Team player and willingness to be challenged
