Xero Manager & VA

We are a niche construction company based in Brisbane, Australia seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a remote worker and manage our Xero ---------- this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timely processing of our financial transactions, as well as providing support to the general manager with administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:

Manage Xero accounting system, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation
Process invoices, expenses, and payments accurately and efficiently
Monitor and reconcile credit card statements
Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly financial reports to stakeholders
Maintain and update customer and vendor files
Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
Respond to customer and vendor inquiries in a timely manner
Provide support to the general manager with administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:

Proven experience as an accountant or bookkeeper
Strong knowledge of Xero accounting software
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Proficient in Google Suite and Gmail
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the construction industry
Familiarity with QuickBooks
Knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards
Working Hours:

This is a remote position, but you must be available to work for at least 4 hours per day within Brisbane, Australian time zone and more hours depending on business needs.
