We currently have a HOTEL TEAM RESERVATIONS AGENT position available in our BGC - Taguig City newly opened support office working with our hotel suppliers for our East Coast USA & Canada leisure groups.
BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Hotel Team Reservations Agent, you will work among our Tour & Travel Group team. This includes taking charge and assisting in a crucial part of Go West Tours as hotel contracting represents 40% of our business expense.
Primarily you will be doing the following:
• Entering all hotel reservations
• Making sure deposits are made on time and cancellations are made on time to avoid fees
• Entering & sending rooming list to hotels as well as preparing break down of charges one one (1) month prior to group’s arrival
• Making sure the hotel information is easily accessible by everyone (files & computer)
• Handle the load of administrative work linked to hotel bookings, contracts, rooming list, break down of the charges, breakfast requirement, wake up call & portage
• Making sure the work is completed correctly and in a timely manner.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
• Excellent English communications skills, both written & verbal
• Organizational skills and attention to detail are a must
• Strong ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts
• Able to handle large loads of administrative task efficiently
• Capable to do research efficiently
• Ability to work independently & have own set of responsibilities
• Being able to work under tight deadlines
• Prior experience in the Tourism Industry as well as in contracting
• Thriving in multi-task, fast pace, dynamic environment
• Strong work ethic, dependability, resourcefulness and flexibility
• Computer literacy: Windows (Word, Access, Excel) / Microsoft Office / Internet
• Minimum graduate of 4 years bachelor's degree
COMPENSATION
This position is a full time exempt position with a monthly salary/allowance of 19K and benefits (paid holidays, 1 day of sick & vacation time earned per month).
