Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Freight Broker to join our team. As a Freight Broker, you will be responsible for managing the transportation needs of our clients by sourcing carriers, negotiating rates, and coordinating the movement of freight. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the transportation industry, exceptional communication skills, and a strong ability to build relationships with carriers and customers.

Responsibilities:

Identify and source carriers for freight transportation
Negotiate freight rates with carriers
Coordinate the movement of freight from pick-up to delivery
Communicate with carriers and customers to ensure timely delivery of freight
Manage the entire freight transportation process, from quoting to delivery
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
Develop and maintain relationships with carriers and customers
Maintain accurate records and documentation
Monitor freight movement and resolve any issues that may arise
Continuously evaluate and improve transportation processes
Qualifications:

2+ years of experience as a Freight Broker or in a similar role
Deep understanding of the transportation industry, including regulations and compliance
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
Ability to build and maintain relationships with carriers and customers
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office and transportation management software
Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required
Bachelor's degree in transportation, logistics, or a related field preferred
