Job Summary:


We are seeking a highly experienced and driven Finance Manager to join our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the financial reporting and accounting functions of the company. The Finance Manager will work closely with senior management be the right hand to the CFO to provide financial guidance and support to the organization.


Key Responsibilities:


Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the company, including the management of accounting and finance teams.
Manage Accounts Payable - ensure all vendors paid on terms and invoices reconcile to supplier agreements and match our records
Manage all database reconciliations and provide solutions for discrepancies
Manage payroll in accordance with Australian laws and regulations
Development of monthly P&L’s, weekly flash reports and compare against forecast.
Manage monthly forecast update and comparison to actuals. Manage the company's budgeting and forecasting process, providing analysis and recommendations to senior Upgrade to see actual infovelop and implement robust financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and analysis to provide insights into financial Upgrade to see actual infovelop and implement internal controls to ensure the accuracy of financial records and protect company assets.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for BAS, PAYGW, FBT and ITR.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business decisions and initiatives.
Work on projects with the CFO on various projects as advised from time to time.
Lead and mentor the finance and accounting teams, providing coaching and development opportunities to ensure the team is highly effective.Improve finance processes continuously for accuracy and efficiency


Requirements:


Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
A CPA, CA or CMA certification or equivalent is highly preferred.
At least 8-10 years of experience in Australian financial reporting, accounting, and financial analysis.
Proven experience in developing and implementing financial policies and procedures, as well as internal controls.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and develop a team of finance professionals.
Experience in a managerial position within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Xero accounting software.
