Graphic Designer

JPO is looking for someone who can take existing designs and illustrations and apply a ‘kid-friendly, consistent, and JPO-branded’ look and feel to ---------- other words, someone who can translate a lot of curated content into our own cohesive course with a specific and consistent design style. Some skills/competencies include:

- Ability to translate an entire course’s worth of content into engaging interactive (and fun) PowerPoint decks, text, and playbooks
- Proficiency in design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Experience producing a range of printed and online materials, illustrations, and graphics such as infographics, graphic organizers, interactive exercises, and formats
- Creative eye and style for taking an idea through to sketch, lo-fi, hi-fi, release
- Good communication, collaboration, and presentation skills as well as efficiencies in managing time and projects
- Must be able to present a portfolio of work showing their strengths and unique style

Requirements & Skills:
- Proven work experience as a graphic designer
- A bachelor’s degree in IT or computer-related courses.
- Computer fluency in Mac and PC
- Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles
- Typography knowledge
- Multimedia content development
- Media production, communication, and dissemination techniques
