JOB OVERVIEW

As an Eco Video Game Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining eco-friendly video games that educate players about sustainability, climate change, and environmental issues. You will work closely with a team of game designers, programmers, artists, and other professionals to create engaging and educational game experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain eco-friendly video games that educate players about sustainability, climate change, and environmental issues.
Collaborate with game designers, programmers, artists, and other professionals to create engaging and educational game experiences.
Conduct research on environmental issues and sustainability to ensure the accuracy and relevance of the game ---------- velop game mechanics and features that promote sustainable behaviors and raise awareness of environmental challenges.
Test and debug games to ensure they are functional, user-friendly, and entertaining.
Optimize game performance and graphics to ensure smooth gameplay on various platforms and devices.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the video game industry and sustainability ---------- municate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to players and game users.
Ensure the game meets all necessary technical, legal, and ethical standards.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, game development, or a related field.
Strong programming skills in languages such as C++, Java, Python, or Unity.
Experience in game development, preferably in the eco/sustainability genre.
Familiarity with environmental issues and sustainability concepts.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Creative problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to adapt to changing project needs and priorities.
Passion for video games and sustainability.
