Website Developer

Hi, I’m Mo, and we’re hiring a long-term website developer at our company, CRE8V Media.
We are a content marketing agency focused on brands related to entrepreneurship and self development producing engaging content so your role is critical and there are many opportunities to grow within the company.
We are seeking a talented and experienced Website Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our client's websites to ensure they are responsive, visually appealing, and user-friendly. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for web development and a desire to create high-quality websites that align with our brand.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with team members to design and develop websites that align with our brand and meet our business objectives
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other programming languages as necessary
Ensure websites are optimised for performance, speed, and SEO best practices
Conduct user testing and make necessary changes to improve website functionality and user experience
Maintain and update existing websites as needed
Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends, tools, and technologies
Troubleshoot and debug website issues as they arise
Requirements:
Proven experience as a website developer
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other programming languages as necessary
Familiarity with website design and development tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, and Figma
Experience with content management systems such as WordPress, Shopify, and Magento
Strong understanding of SEO best practices and website optimization techniques
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Bachelor's degree in computer science, web development, or a related field
FAST internet connection (include a screenshot of your speedtest.net scores in your application)
Native or C2 English
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with responsive design and mobile optimisation
Familiarity with server-side programming languages such as PHP and Ruby on Rails
Knowledge of web hosting and server administration
