Shopify Web Designer

Our health/supplements company is seeking an experienced member for graphic and web ---------- sentially, we will be working together to create a brand and launch a product and website together from scratch. This will include competitor design research, brand design, product packaging designs, website creation, and print and online marketing material - you will take ownership over the execution of creatives within the company! Work and communication between us will be during Asia hours, as we are based from Hong Kong. Copy (text) will be provided. Our company’s product is an anti-hangover supplement targeting 30-50 year olds in both the US and Hong Kong market.

You are expected to perform the following duties:
Branding + competitor design research - understand what design competitors and use, and come up with ideas as to what may fit our brand / image
Product packaging design - for the supplements sachets and bottles. **Adobe Illustrator a MUST** 3D rendering capabilities are a plus, but not required. Manufacturer will be providing die cut lines for sachets and bottles - you will be working within the die cut to deliver a design that suits the brand
Create and update a website **SHOPIFY** - create a website from scratch and update and improve it with business needs - i.e. not only the logos and banners, but also setting it up for sales, payments, logistics, and email marketing
Ensure stability of website function across devices - desktop, mobile, tablet
Create print or online marketing material for ongoing ad campaigns targeting print, facebook/instagram, email, etc
Print - inserts and flyers
Online - banners, posters, etc for social media and email marketing
Assist and knowledge share Adobe Illustrator to other members on the team
Other tasks - photo touch up, business cards, stickers, packaging tape

Who we are looking for - candidates who are/have:
Proven skills in Adobe Illustrator, 3D Rendering, and/or Shopify website design
Strong independent worker - you will be expected to be able to work alone to come up with ideas and deliver tasks accordingly
Take ownership of everything creative within the company!
Proven work experience in graphic design - please show relevant work
Proven work experience in Shopify website design and maintenance - please show examples and list out what tools/apps you are familiar with
Interest and experience in branding, competitor research, and creating something from scratch - your input will matter!
Reliable - keep to tight deadlines to ensure smooth delivery
Experience in the consumer health or supplements industry a plus, but not required
