Marketing Coordinator

TMC, a leading media and events company in technology, seeks a detail-oriented marketing coordinator to manage one of the fastest-growing segments of our business. This is a part-time role requiring 15-25 hours per week.

For success in this role, you must be very organized and able to manage a detailed schedule of marketing campaigns, client communications (via email), and light customer service.

Required Skills:

- Strong written communication skills - including marketing copywriting, copy editing, e-mail responses & notifications
- Excellent organization skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, OneDrive
- Ability to work effectively in team environment

Additional skills not required but useful:

- Familiarity with database-building tools - Zoominfo, LinkedIn, etc.
- Light graphic design/photoshop

Responsibilities:

• Research and identify target companies for each element of the program
• Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing and communication plan for each element
• Create compelling messages highlighting the benefits of the program
• Coordinate with various teams and stakeholders to gather necessary information and resources for promotions and announcements
• Draft and distribute announcement materials – including press releases
• Track and report on the success of each specific element

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or project management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Knowledge of industry awards and their application processes is a plus
• Experience in the technology industry is a plus
