Civil Engineer

• Must be able to manage projects, supervise staff, and provide technical advice as a subject matter expert.
• Must be responsible for planning, marking out, and leveling construction sites before any building work takes place.
• Must be responsible for the procurement and management of construction materials that are used on-site.
• Must use their expert knowledge of construction materials and their commercial nous to negotiate deals with suppliers.
• Must liaise with third-party stakeholders to keep them updated on the progress of the construction project, manage the site facilities, and supervise construction workers on a daily basis. They are usually in charge of the health and safety of the construction site.
