Estimator - Construction

We are looking for a Project Estimator to work with our projects team in order to create and maintain accurate budgets. The ideal candidate has a history of working well with others, is a self-starter, and has an interest in the field of construction. The right candidate will be able to interpret customer requests and communicate project costs to the upper management team. Candidate must have knowledge of welding, metal fabrication and basic machining processes. Must be able to interpret drawings, sketches, and bills of materials for commercial customers. Candidate must have extensive knowledge in reading and understanding Isometric drawings.

Responsibilities:

Create Take-Off Bids for Potential Contracts
Calculate the costs of carrying through with construction projects.
Estimate structural steel
- Hand rails
- Stairs
- Grading – steel and aluminum
- Bollards etc.
Identify and assess a project's risks.
Calculate the time, risk, and cost factors of a project.
Talk to the client and analyze their objectives.
Estimate all costs associated with a project.
Implement, oversee, and check safety procedures during all stages of a construction project.
Work as part of a team.
