Designfully Curated LLC is an emerging fashion house that recently launched its signature, luxury footwear brand, Gena Penn.

Penn PR is a small communications consultancy.

Both entities are owned and operated by a communications executive and entrepreneur, based in Rockville, Maryland: a Washington, DC suburb.

This position would work on projects for both businesses and other projects.

Schedule
• Full-time, 40 hours per week.
• Some hours are flexible, but employee must be available 2 to 3 hours per day during peak business hours for meetings and to deliver time-sensitive work.

Salary and Perks
• $3.50 – $4.50 USD per hour per month, depending on experience.

Required Qualifications, Experience & Equipment
• College degree OR professional training in art, graphic design, marketing or related field.
• 3+ years of professional graphic design and video editing experience.
• Exceptional communicator, superior English fluency is required.
• Excellent graphic design skills.
• Proficiency using a wide variety of styles and techniques in Adobe Creative Suite.
• You must have an updated computer or laptop with Adobe Creative Cloud. You must have a high speed and consistent internet with backup power sources available.
Required Applications:
Superior knowledge of these apps is required.
• Microsoft Word
• Microsoft Outlook
• Microsoft PowerPoint
• Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign are essential.
(Must have your own software license.)
• Video editing software, such as CyberLink PowerDirector 365, Adobe Premiere Pro, OR Apple Final Cut Pro.
(Must own a license to a professional video editing software)
• Canva
• Dropbox
• Google Docs and/or OneDrive

Duties and Deliverables:
• Graphic Design
o Edit photos (enhance lighting, color balance, exposure, contrast, vibrancy, saturation and overall image quality).
o Design PowerPoint templates and presentations, ads, social media graphics, web banners, collateral, custom illustrations, logos, branding, email signatures, email newsletters, business cards, product mock-ups, posters, pitch decks, and infographics.
o Create new social media content weekly.
o Stay up to date on trends and create related content.
o Design and develop graphics for new and existing product lines for multiple businesses.

• Print Design
o Design a variety of print work from business cards and brochures to flyers and eBooks.

• Digital Design
o Create graphics for use on our website, eCommerce and social platforms, email newsletters, landing pages, and banner advertising.
o Website design/development is NOT required, but a strong PLUS!

• Video Creation
o Create and edit videos using templates and video editing software.
o Design custom motion graphics, gifs and social media reels/shorts.
• Project Management
o Plan, coordinate and manage graphic design projects.
o Liaise and engage with the team by email and video calls.
