Position Overview
The Marketing / Sales Associate at Figura Media is a junior-level part-time position that is responsible for the coordination and execution of the marketing plan and strategies to foster strong branding, brand recognition, and effective outreach and communications to meet and exceed the company’s sales goals. The position reports to the Executive Producers and works closely with other Figura Media staff.
Primary Responsibilities
Develop and maintain an effective SEO plan, optimizing company website for the best possible extent for Google/Yahoo/Bing rankings
Coordinate and maintain advertising campaigns and company listings
Organize, maintain and grow client database
Coordinate various email and e-newsletter communications (MailChimp)
Manage all social media outreach, content creation and communications
Develop, design and coordinate advertising and marketing materials (print, digital, video, etc.)
Maintain website information, design, updates, content, etc.
Assist Executive Producers with market research and business development strategies
Assist in a variety of other related duties as directed by the Executive Producers
Qualifications
Superb English writing, speaking and communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Strong affinity for and knowledge of social media platforms
Ability to take direction well and work under pressure in a faced-paced, energetic and creative work environment.
Strong capability of meeting deadlines
Must be a self-starter, emotionally stable and trustworthy
Energetic, out-going personality and capable of projecting a positive image of Figura Media to the public
Requirements
Bachelor of Arts degree in marketing, communications and/or related field required
1 - 2 years’ experience in social media
1 - 2 years of SEO experience
Proficiency in photoshop, dreamweaver and google-based programs a plus.
