Airbnb/Vacation Rental Communications Manager

This will be a player-coach position. You will start as one on a team of communications agents with the expectation that you lead and manage the team/operations within one month or less from starting. The team’s success will be your success, and the team’s failures will be your failures, so we are looking for someone to manage a team and ensure everyone on the team is operating efficiently. If you dive head first into this role and do well, the sky’s the limit on how the role will grow as our company grows.

We are looking for someone with the following:
- Desire and excitement to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ready to go above and beyond their role and scope to push forward the company's mission and goals
- Professionalism in all forms of communication, such as email, phone calls, video calls, and texts
- Strong attention to detail
- 2+ Years of Short-Term / Vacation Rental Operations experience for 30+ properties across multiple markets
- Management experience - scheduling, training, enhancing team performance

Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Creating new listings on Airbnb, VRBO, and more through our PMS
- Updating listings
- Managing database of property information and common guest questions
- Monitoring technology and making sure everything is synced
- Creating performance reports with stats by property to report upstream
- Communicating with our teams to ensure that properties are ready for guest stays
- Managing and monitoring our team of communications agents
- Claim/Complaint resolution
- Creating new team processes - we are always looking for ways to improve
- Upselling guests to generate more revenue for each property

Compensation will be dependent on experience with performance-based incentives after 3 months

Although the work can be done from anywhere, we prefer that you work on EST or CST equivalent timezones.
