In this role you will work directly with our Sales team, and assist preparing estimates for Commercial Fire Alarm and Life Safety projects located in New York and New Jersey (USA).
Our current process is:
1. Provide accurate counts of required devices utilizing our online
2. Review plans and document any notes that may impact the total material or installation cost.
3. Utilize internal estimating software for prepare a cost for control panels (each are unique)
4. Create New Project opportunity in CRM
5. Generate Proposal in CRM, and upload required documents.
6. Distribute proposal to client
You will be responsible for Items 1, 4 and 5 to start.
If you are interested in managing items 2 and 3 as well, we will gladly provide training and increase the total required hours accordingly. Training for items 2-3 may only be conducted on Eastern Standard time, 8AM-8PM. All other work may be completed during your preferred working hours.
Prior Experience/Skills:
• 2+ year of Estimating Experience
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including functions and formulas
• Experience in Fire Alarm or Electrical Estimating a plus
